Mid Canterbury's Transport has not been effected by the Christchurch earthquake and all products are fully operational. 

Within an hour's drive south of Christchurch International Airport you will find yourself in the Ashburton District. Numerous scheduled services travel through the Ashburton District - available on a daily frequent timetable.

Take advantage of the district's two highway's - State Highway One and the Inland Scenic Route 72 - you can travel down one way and back the other, experiencing the whole district.
