Mountain Bike stage race, 4 days, 5 stages, 259kms, 5250m of climbing.

The event is a women specific cycling event designed as an introduction to mass participation road cycling events. The courses offered will cater for every level of cyclist, first time to elite.

The next Lake Hood Regatta, near Ashburton, is scheduled for Sunday 20 March, 2011. Further details will be available later in the year.

The Terrace Downs Defi is back for 2011 and has been penciled in for April 9th. Terrace Downs looks forward to hosting all returning competitors as well as welcoming new entries.

Arrowsmith Thee Ride is a 42km MTB ride/race around Mt Arrowsmith Station that starts & finishes at the woolshed. Arrowsmith Thee Run is an offroad marathon on the same course. "Any tougher & it rust"

Ashburton Indoor Bowls Association are hosting the 36th South Island Championships at Queens Birthday 2011.

The NZSSAA Executive is pleased to confirm that the 2011 NZSS Cross Country Championships will be held at Tinwald Domain, Ashburton on June 18 2011.

A 24 km run through the Mt Somers Sub Alpine Walkway held on the same day as the Big Day At The Office Mulitsport Race. Runners will be let go just as the first bikers come into the transition.
